The liberal media is not giving up on the claim that the President intentionally revealed classified information in a meeting with the Russians.
Of course, the only way the media could know about what was said in the meeting is due to even more illegal intelligence leaks, which are far more of a threat to national security than the supposed contents of the conversation Trump had.
This is probably just another effort to distract the public from the scandals withing Clinton and Obama’s circles.
But that effort will also be in vain, as it has been reported that a State Department employee named Candace Claiborne has been arrested and charged by the FBI for failing to disclose foreign contacts and making false statements to federal investigators.
Claiborne was originally hired to work for the State Department in 1999 under rapist Bill Clinton, but then she started secretly working with foreign agents shortly after Hillary Clinton was appointed Secretary of State.
Appearing before a judge, Claiborne pledged not guilty to all crimes, but with a mountain of evidence at their disposal, prosecutors have a strong case against her.
Claiborne possessed a Top Secret security clearance, requiring her to report all contact with anyone she suspected of having ties to a foreign government.
But she apparently forgot to disclose her long-term connection with Chinese agents, who showered her with all sorts of gifts over the years.
In exchange, she had to provide her benefactors with classified information concerning potential trade deals.
Over a five-year period, she received tens of thousands of dollars in cash and gifts, including money being wired directly to her bank account. She also received fancy Apple products, luxurious vacations, an apartment and furniture, a monthly stipend, and more.
“AS A STATE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEE WITH A TOP SECRET CLEARANCE, SHE RECEIVED TRAINING AND BRIEFING ABOUT THE NEED FOR CAUTION AND TRANSPARENCY,” U.S. ATTORNEY CHANNING PHILLIPS SAID IN A STATEMENT.
“THIS CASE DEMONSTRATES THAT U.S. GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR FAILING TO HONOR THE TRUST PLACED IN THEM WHEN THEY TAKE ON SUCH SENSITIVE ASSIGNMENTS.”
